Bab 153: Silence of Night

The rest of the way, both Aylin and Kaiser were silent. Kaiser didn't say a single word to her and he had a dark and grumpy face while walking down the mountain though he was politely helping her to climb down, leading her the path, and was still holding her wrist.

'Yap! Yap!'

Suddenly, a raspy and rough scream of a big creature startled Aylin as she leaped in fear, taking a few steps backward. 

"What is this big thing!"

Only after looking at it for a while, she realized that it was a huge vulture, fluttering its big, black wings and surprisingly, it was flying, circling them. Still looking at it with a scared expression, Aylin asked in a puzzled and nervous tone.

"What's wrong with this bird? Is it going to attack us?"
