Bab 44: Avengers Assemble
the past week went by rather fast, I have been training my new powers constantly, and I have gotten better at using them. My telekinesis is like a sandstorm constantly flowing around me.
Harry has been showing the fruits of his training by sparring with the League members, he has improved, currently, he is the second strongest member in the League his attacks are just too hard to dodge, and since Harry has been honing his abilities they have only gotten stronger.
Over this past week, I have been hearing news of a new mutant group called the Order of the Phoenix, if I didn't know any better id call them out on plagiarism dumbledore would not like having his secret society's name stolen so blatantly.
It seems like Jean is the one that founded the group and is leading amicably. We have met once more since the start of her Order and have concluded to become allies. We don't mess with them and they don't mess with us a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
And some more good news is that I heard through my agents in shield that Loki has recently stolen the Tesseract, if all goes to plan he will start the invasion at the end of this week.
-- Pov Loki ---
"kneel! Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel." I said in triumph they all kneel in the end, like sheep they follow my every order.
That was until this young brave fool stood up.
"Not to men like you," he said to ME
"There are no men like me," I replied
"There are always men like you," he replied like I'm some common fruit
"Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example." an evil glint flashed through my eyes when I saw the fearful expressions of the mortals
*zzzapp* I launched a beam at him but *pah* a man with a shield blocked it. A shield!
"You know, the last time I was in Germany I met a man that saw himself above everyone else. We ended up disagreeing." captain America the man who was famous for his acts in Germany, spoke to me in such a way
"The soldier. The man out of His time." I sneered
*swoosh* he wasted no time a threw his shield at me. *bang* I easily batted it away.
"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down." the woman flying the jet sounded
"Hah! I stand down to no one mortal!" I said angrily
I and the American patriot continued are fight, blow for blow I had him! I won!
"Kneel!" I said standing over his body
Suddenly loud music sounded in the distance and a man with an iron suit appeared.

I just got word Loki was defeated, which means soon Thor is coming back to Midgard for a visit. I wonder does he remember me?
Currently, I am preparing my forces for the invasion, no one knows everything but what the league does know is something big is going to happen in New York, and more than half of the members are going to need to be present.
Felicia and Harry are the only ones who know what's actually going on. I don't want to tell everyone an alien invasion is going to befall New York until at least a day before. My reasoning? Well, one is to make them think about what it could be, two I don't want them to panic, three if they warn their family, word of the invasion could spread. Some might say I'm an ass hole for keeping this secret but their families are as safe as could be. I don't slouch on members' security measures.

In the shield helicarrier, Natasha slowly walked into Loki's holding area.
"you figured I'd come," Natasha says to a locked-up Loki.
"After. After whatever tortures Fury can concoct, you would appear as a friend, as a balm. And I would cooperate." Loki said mockingly
"I want to know what you've done to Agent Barton," Natasha said to Loki disregarding his words
"I would say I've expanded his mind," Loki replied
"And once you've won, once you're king of the mountain, what happens to his mind?" She asked walking closer to the cell
"Oh? Is this love, Agent Romanoff?" Loki answered with a smirk
"Love is for children. I owe him a debt." She replied
"Oh I smell a ravishing story~," Loki said with a condescending smirk
Natasha sighed then slowly opened her mouth to speak, like the mere thought of what she is about to say is wrong.
"Before I worked for shield,I, uh.. Well, I made a name for myself. I have a very specific skill set. I didn't care who I used it for, or on. I got on shield's radar in a bad way. Agent Barton was sent to kill me He made a different call." Natasha said in a heavy tone
"And what will you do if I vow to spare him?" Loki asked with a 'Harmless' smile
"Not let you out," she replied immediately
"No, but I like this. Your world is in the balance, and you bargain for one man." said Loki
"Regimes fall every day. I tend not to weep over that. I'm Russian. Or I was." she replied Calmly
"And what are you now?" Loki asked
"It's really not that complicated. got red in my ledger, I'd like to wipe it out," Natasha said seriously
"Can you? Can you wipe out that much red Dreykov's daughter, Sao Paulo, the hospital fire? Barton told me everything. Your ledger isn't dripping. It's gushing red, and you think saving a man will redeem you? It will change anything? This is the basest sentimentality. This is a child at prayer. Pathetic! You lie and kill in the service of liars and killers. You pretend to be separate, to have your own code, something that makes up for the horrors. But they are part of you. And they will never go away." Loki said his tone dripping with venom
"I won't touch Barton, not until I make him kill you. Slowly, intimately, in every way he knows you fear. And then he'll wake just long enough to see his good work, and when he screams,
I'll split his skull. This is my bargain, you mewling quim." Loki spat out
"You're a monster." Natasha said with 'unsteady' eyes
"Oh, no. You brought the monster." Loki replied victoriously
Suddenly Natasha's whole demeanor changed and she quickly radioed to the others, "his play is to use Dr. Banner."
Loki's face fell.
" no. No. NO! " he shouted banging on his cell walls
'I the God of mischief and trickery. Made a fool? I cannot accept this! I will not accept this!' Loki thought
Natasha walked out never looking back. She hates to admit it but Loki's words got to her.
In the research room no one noticed a shadow extending out of the floor and grabbing Loki's staff.
—-Norman pov ---
The day of the invasion is steadily approaching, it shall be the day the League comes out to the public, the day we save the masses, the day all of the metahuman protests claim their purpose, the day the avengers are made, and the day people lose there, family and friends I know I can't save everyone, I know people will die, but what's done is done, this day has to happen not only for my plans but the safety of the world, people need to know we aren't alone. Why? because they will fear it and fear brings innovation fear brings progress, fear is where everything starts.
Metahumans the population feared them but at the same time didn't they were disgusted by them. This won't be the same scientist will make weapons to combat future galactic threats, they will research chitauri technology, and a new age will be born. One where if you have the strength to protect people, you use it.
The masses will change their minds about metahumans quicker than before.
And as an upstanding citizen, I have to help the rebuilding process of my destroyed State of course. Not to mention food drives I should hold to help unfortunate families.
I also am very interested in the chitauri's gene structure and how they have a hive mind.
Currently, I am standing above a chamber, it looks a lot like the one from the movie Captain America, Forge made it to inject gamma radiation and the booster serum into someone at the same time.
*shwoosh* the mechanical door slowly swung open.
A man that was at least ten feet tall, greenish-grey, and jacked beyond belief stepped out.
"How do you feel?" I asked softly
"I feel great masterrrr!" it said back slowly
This man was a low-level member of the League, he wanted to join the experiment to become stronger, faster, and more dangerous. Unfortunately, some of the intelligence he had is now lost, but, what he gained is power. Power to defeat his foes, power to defend me his master, Harry his young master, and Felicia his mistress. And I mean literally not figuratively, his mind treats me like I'm his master which I am, so that includes my family.
I have a feeling this is going to be a big year for me.
