Doctor Angelo pov

I muttered immediately "Angela, can we talk?"

She shook her head "no."

"Please," I said nicely but not begging.

She lowered her gaze at Nathan then she nodded and ushered to me to follow her "please come with me."

I didn't know what I should say. I wasn't in love with her that much. But all I knew was that I wanted her back into my life and my son too.

We stepped inside the kitchen, she stood silent only waiting for me to say whatever I wanted to. I hardly cupped her cheeks and kissed her lonely and warmly. She stood there like a statue, she didn't kiss me back.

I pulled slowly away and swallowed my lump "sorry."

She stunned me by her words, she uttered from the tip of her nose "have you thought that I will melt between your lips and beg you to be with me?"

Well, sort of. But it seemed like it didn't work.

I coughed and swayed my head "I can't lie. Yes. Because I didn't have any excuse for what happened."
