Pity Party is such a marvellous creation. 💞 It captures the many struggles that blue collar people silently endure each day and invites readers from diverse backgrounds to empathise in a way that I haven't experienced from any other novel. Like most lgbtq+ fiction, it explores the underlying societal norms and stereotypes, specifically around accepting homosexuality. But what stood out to me was that the novel also showed in a subtle yet powerful way how financial problems could play such a significant role in the shaping of a person's character. Ikomo Kuri has successfully encapsulated these underlying themes through the emotionally touching journey of Shinso's. 💔 An honest 5-star review from me! 🎉

Lots of angst tragedy & bully! The characters have serious mental issues which makes the whole story really thrilling! For those who prefers gory and tragedy should read this!
