Bab 118: Cling to Me

Hong Gi had never seen Steph so needy before. Not like this. Not to the point he was scared she might not be able to stand on her own feet. All of this over some crazy woman who felt Steph had stolen her job. What was that all about? 

He helped Steph undress and put her to bed, but she barely let go of him long enough for him to complete his nightly ritual before slipping into bed beside her. Steph's hold on him was filled with tension and fear. He did his best to soothe her, but to be honest, he wasn't sure what he could do short of never leaving her sight again, and that wasn't a realistic option. All he could do was hope that with the dawn of a new day, she would find her courage again.
