Her gaze was pure and innocent, devoid of notions of good and evil, resembling the princess from a dark fairy tale.

Fiona White shuddered involuntarily, "What do you want?"

"I'd like to invite you for a drink."

Rae Bennett's pupils were darker than those of an average adult, devoid of impurities, clear and direct—looking into them was like falling into an endless abyss.

Instinctively, Fiona took a step back, but her heel met resistance.

She turned around, her eyes reddening with urgency, "Move aside, I need to get out."

The two men blocking her way didn't budge. The one on the left reached out and shoved her aside.

She fell to the ground, her face showing panic and confusion, "You, you—"

Their eyebrows didn't even twitch.

Fiona grew afraid, got up from the ground, and started screaming towards the door, "Is there anybody out there?"

"Someone help!"

"Quick, someone help!"

Rae didn't stop her, allowing her to scream, to cry out until her voice was hoarse.
