Sun Long fell into a coma, and then soon after he passed away after fluid accumulated inside his brain, courtesy of the fall and the delay in treatment. 

The utter joy Sun Haowei felt at the sight of his biggest childhood demon finally fading away was dampened by the mountain of debt his father had incurred in the years they spent apart. His father was a hedonistic playboy and age didn't stop him from throwing wasteful parties, hosting foreigners in exotic locations. 

That would have been bad enough on its own, but he was also a negligent investor, throwing money at whatever new product that struck his fancy, especially if the company sent a sexy saleswoman to his bed. 

He took loan after loan from the banks, and never bothered to pay interest! Sun Haowei nearly crushed the invoices when he tallied up the damage done, his eyes darkening in rage.
