If you asked them to describe their leader, they would have one word for him -- Unfathomable.

Several people quickly peeked at their leader's sturdy back, feeling the air growing gloomier the more they reported.

"Yes, village chief." Old man Yager replied, his hands on his staff and his stance firm. 

The boy really did a fast one on them. 

Who would've known the so-called assassin ploy back then was fake? 

Yager recalled Wolfram's weak and disheveled state, feeling Wolfram to be a great actor. 

The boy even fooled him, the wise Yager.
