Yamm allowed Ciprian to see him, enjoying the quick flash of horror on the man's face as the priest's eyes skimmed over his deer legs and bare torso. The god was glad he'd manifested here with a pair of antlers, even if they were smaller than he'd prefer. He enjoyed towering over humans.
"I'd be careful with that fear, priest. I am not the only one who can get past your defenses because of it. You must be aware of that."
Ciprian put the pitcher on his daughter's dresser and strode toward Yamm as if he actually planned on confronting him. "I already know your son is back. I will find a way to destroy him for good."
As much as Yamm had come to detest this particular human, he always was impressed with the priest's unwavering belief in his own abilities. Ciprian's eyes darted from his sleeping daughter to Yamm's face.
Good ol'Yamm, bringing all kinds of truths to light. So...what do you think? Any theories you'd like to share?
