I close my bag just as Colin walks into my room. I didn't sleep a wink last night. Leaving the Greenspring pack was something that I wanted and now that it has happened, I don't know how I feel about it. I wanted to mess with Walker but it seems like he has also done something to my head. I couldn't stop thinking about last night. The way his eyes looked at me—like they were looking right through me... Like there's more than what meets the eye. Maybe it had been too long since someone made me feel so alive again.

"What's going on?" he asks with a worried expression on his face.
