Aria felt like her whole world had just come to a stop immediately he vomitted those words from his mouth. Was this it? Was this all he had to say to her? She thought that he at least cared for her but he didn't -- what he did instead was to call her into his room and tell her that he wanted to reject her as his mate.

"I...I don't understand." She stuttered. "W- what are you talking about?" Her voice was breaking -- almost as if she was going to cry.

"You heard me well the first time, Aria. I called you here because I want to reject you as my mate and I don't want you to resist."
