The red dragon swung his blade, producing an arc of energy before him, launching it at Marcus.

The young man raised Replica vertically, slashing as he created his own icy sword aura, launching it at the quickly approaching aura. When the two arcs of energy collided, a large explosion burst, damaging the mountain and kicking debris and dirt into the air.

Marcus remained in a defensive position; his sword crossed diagonally before his body. He prepared to summon his Phantom Blades as soon as the red dragon decided to charge.

A shadow dashed through the smokescreen toward Marcus. He swung his blade, colliding with Marcus' sword; on impact, the seven Phantom Blades materialized behind him as he switched from defense to offense and began unleashing a torrential assault.
