The week had progressed without anything significant happening for Marcus, and The Phantoms continued to roll out their unified equipment and upgrades. As they were about to release all the upgraded equipment for the entire guild, a major announcement was released by CryoCorp. The news was plastered across every major network.

Marcus was at school when it was announced, and it rang through to his Pocket Device:

"Major News Released by CryoCorp Early This Morning!"

His phone began repeatedly ringing as every news outlet sent out similar headlines. Apparently, everyone in his school was receiving similar notifications, including the teachers who had to silence their devices mid-lecture.
