Bab 20: chapter twenty

The screams from the underground cell barely penetrated the mansion's thick walls. Anyone passing by would have been oblivious to the horrors unfolding in the basement of that grand house. Enzo Romano had decided to vent his fury on the new traitor they had discovered among them. He needed to uncover who was sabotaging his missions and threatening his power.

He had already commenced with his preferred method—emotional torture. Enzo had informed the man that locating his loved ones was as simple as it sounded. Presenting them in front of him and torturing them himself would be easy. The man seemed overly confident that Enzo would never find them.

Taking a screwdriver, Enzo drove it into the leg of the man strapped into an electric chair. The man's screams of excruciating pain only fueled Enzo's rage further.

"Please," the man begged, his legs trembling from prolonged torture and lack of blood flow. Blood oozed profusely from the fresh injury.
