Bab 161: Unknown Adversary

Maximilian: [Let's meet that bastard.]

From the 2nd story of the building, Maximilian landed on the ground softly after cushioning his feet with wind magic.

The perpetrator ran in and blended in with the crowd inside the market, but without noticing it, Maximilian could discern where they were as he ran to catch up.

Grantt: (Are we really going to chase them?!)

Maximilian: [If you can sleep, fully aware that your enemies could be anywhere, you're a careless and dead man.]

Maximilian kept up and ran after the figure that ran. They were wearing layers of rags and clothing that covered their face and body.

But as Maximilian began to catch up using his raw speed, the mysterious figure would cast magic to lift themselves up after jumping.

???: [Wind Magic: Flight!]

They vaulted to a roof of a building, but underwhelming to the name of the spell, that magic was but only a boost to reach the top of the building.

Maximilian: [Dissapointing. This is what real flight is!]
