Bab 77: An Inevitable War

Away from the northern gates, residents had begun to move away towards the southern gate to evacuate.

There were more than counting Black Ebonies that began to rampage slowly from the Northern Gate as Lilith and Mina led the soldiers towards it.

People screamed for help, and bloodstains and splatters were on the walls and ground. There were no corpses, it would seem that the monster had eaten their victims.

[Lilith]: "Mina, what about your people, where have they gone?"

[Mina]: "I had them evacuate along with the humans. There shouldn't be someone who would be suspicious of them in this crisis!"

The houses were beginning to be lit by fire, and destruction to those buildings even yet to be built was brought.

Lilith could just clench her fist and halt to hold a point as three figures from the northern gate walked towards them.

[Nolan]: "Are you perhaps the leading servant? Your magic seems to be more powerful than this one here."
