Eleonore’s POV
We were back in the office again. It seemed like this was where most of our days were spent as of late. Rhett and Hayden busied themselves with papers and plans, maps of tunnels and roads and everything else they could possibly get their hands on to try and help them understand the fire that had occurred the night prior.
They had come to the agreement together that it wasn’t just a freak accident, not that I’m sure what had happened could ever have been passed away as an accident of any sort. There was still the undeniable truth that someone had put silver chains around the main door.
“Could it have been a vampire?” Hayden mused aloud, his thoughts seemed to be running away from him lately, and his bleary and tired eyes shot up from a book to look at Viktor, who was sitting across from me.
