Eleonore’s POV

“Are you sure you want to do this?” Sabrina asked as I sighed and nodded my head. It felt like it was the tenth time she had asked me this question today, in reality it really could have been the fifteenth or even twentieth. There was a concern in her eyes that had my heart clenching.

“I mean I’m all for mental health and taking care of it, but are you sure this is the way to go?” I couldn’t fault her for asking these questions, though. Sabrina had always been a serious, hardworking woman and to her taking a break from college was never in the question, no matter how hard things got. Her drive was both impressive and concerning.

Of course, the excuse that I would be taking a break from university for my mental health was only an excuse. In reality it was something else entirely.
