Zuo Tianfeng looked utterly incredulous. "Mom, have you gone mad? Let Zonghe and Si Fuqing get engaged? What are you thinking?"

Though Zonghe was a bit of a wastrel, he was, after all, the eldest son of the Zuo family.

The goal was to align with a family that could benefit the Zuos, and Si Fuqing didn't fit that bill at all.
