Bab 34: Upside Down

'This is impossible!'

'What the hell is happening?!'

Azuma was heavily breathing as he ran through the forests. His limbs were so heavy that he felt like they might break at any moment. He had been walking and running through the dark woods ever since he stepped inside.

How did he end up in such a mess?

The chasing shadows suddenly became silent behind him, making Azuma more unnerved than before.

His pace slowed down a little.

Suddenly, there was no sound.

"Zero!" he gasped, "Do you know anything about these forests??"

Swish!

Azuma staggered on his feet as something sharp hissed past him. And then the silence resumed. 

There was nothing he could see.

Just the endless field of forests, and the unknown wetness beneath his feet which squelched with each step.

But he could never see what it was, all the trees were upside down and the branches and leaves were spread over the ground like wild bushes.
