Bab 164: The return

(Rachel)

Rachel woke up the next morning and went over to the room Samantha had been sleeping in. She knocked twice on the door and waited. "Sammy?" she called out before knocking again. Rachel was met with nothing else but silence. Suspiciously, she grabbed onto the doorknob and opened it.

She stepped into an empty room. There was a bunch of clothes messily thrown around on the bed. The blanket seemed untouched to how Rachel has folded it the previous morning. Even the curtain were drawn shut though Samantha always made it a habit to open them up every morning. All this brought Rachel to one easy yet saddening conclusion.

"She hasn't come home all night…" Rachel said to herself with a deep sigh.
