Bab 78: Infighting

Meghan walked into the living room and found it empty. She strolled over towards the balcony but found no one there either. Nor was there anyone in the kitchen. It was the first time she had seen the flat as empty as this since she moved in. It gave her a strange feeling of being left on her own. Deep inside she knew it wasn't true. Leon was probably still in his house and Rody must have gone upstairs to check on Ray. And yet, something in the back of her mind continued to bother her.

Trying not to dwell on it too much, she moved towards the couches and noticed there was a pillow and a crumpled up blanket on one of them.

"So she really did make him sleep on the couch…" she said in a soft voice.
