Bab 63: Genius

Ray's alarm started beeping at six the following morning. He woke up with a start and fumbled with his phone in a frantic attempt to turn it off. After succeeding in his mission, he carefully raised his eyes towards Meghan who lay still in the bed next to him. He held his gaze for a couple of seconds, hoping that he hadn't inadvertently woken her up.

But even after waiting for half a minute, Meghan did not stir and merely continued sleeping soundly under the blanket. Ray knew that he didn't have to wait that long to confirm but several of those seconds was just him being unable to take his eyes off her. And also there was a small part of him that was afraid she would force him to wear that horrible sparkly T-shirt if he disturbed her sleep for the second time.
