Bab 45: Natural Killer

Ray led Meghan and Sheila's group to the C block roof entrance. Once they were all inside the building, Ray turned to them and spoke.

"Leon's flat is just three floors down. We should be good just taking the stairs."

Sheila nodded.

Ray lingered at the top step for a few moments before continuing, "Look, you guys really don't have to come. We're just going to each of our friends' houses to get some clothes and stuff. It's not a big deal."

"We don't really have anything particular to do right now." Sheila said, "It wouldn't hurt if we tagged along right? Unless you feel we're going to be a burden…"

"No, no" Ray replied quickly, "It's nothing like that. You're free to come if you want."

"Great," Sheila said with a light smile, "it'll be our pleasure."
