Bab 41: Trust

Ray woke up about an hour before noon. He sat up on his bed and let out a big yawn. He stretched his arms as high as they could reach before cracking his back. He had finally managed to get some much needed rest. He swung his legs off the bed and got to his feet.

'I wonder what everyone else is up to…' Ray thought as he walked out of his room.

From the moment he entered the living room, he sensed that something was not right. He found everyone sitting on the couches in an unsettling silence. They lifted their heads and watched him approach with unreadable expressions on their faces. The tension in the air was palpable. Whatever had happened while he slept, it certainly left an impact on all of them.

"Hey," Rody said, "did you get any sleep?"

"Yeah, I did." He replied, "What's going on here? Why're you all so quiet?"
