Chapter 420 - Success or failure of the plan

The morning light shone into the room and the person on the bed slowly opened her eyes. She stared at the green cloth for a while before her hazy eyes disappeared and were replaced with a clear and bright look.

She reached out and touched the bed outside. It was cold and unslept, and she let her hand rest there for a long time, long enough to warm the mattress beneath her before she took it away.

Inside the room, there were two hot furnaces. The fire from the stove made the bedroom very warm. She sat up and let the bedding slide. When she came out, it was warm all over her body and she didn't miss the warmth inside the bedding.
