Dominic’s POV

"I know you can hear me, son !"

I wanted to block that voice so bad ! It was damn traumatic to even think about hearing it again.

Ryan’s mom had made me a black anklet that had helped me in successfully warding off the rascal’s voice away from my head all my teenage years.

Before that I always heard him say the same shitty set of 3 lines in my head telepathically-

"I know you can hear me, son ! Come back to me. I promise to be a good father to you."

Like hell he would.

He only wanted my head, nothing else.

I was his prophesized weapon of death afterall.

However, this time it was different.

I was hearing the disturbing voice after nearly a decade and I stayed silent, shutting my mind from all thoughts so that the devil did not locate me.

How he reached me, inspite of the powerful anklet, was beyond me.
