Bab 56: Chapter 57

"Y-You mean I beheaded that...wolf?" Annah covered her mouth in shock, recalling how she was bathed with blood at the campsite.

"Yeah. I saw it in your memories."

"My memories? How can you do that?" she asked.

"Don't you know? Whenever a vampire has a connection with another vampire, you can see their memories through the blood you suck from them. It's either hate or love. It didn't matter. You just have some sort of a connection to that vampire." Ricco explained.

"So when you bit me and you fed on my blood, you can access my memories?"

"Just a fragment," Ricco said. "There are a lot of things I'd like to tell you about the ancient legends of our race. It will shock you." 

"Oh tell me!" Annah said in glee.

"I will but I don't tell secrets on my flings." It was Ricco's turn to tease.

Annah chuckled at that. "We need to settle out terms here. You do mine and I'll do yours." 

"Deal." Ricco agreed.
