Bab 67: HELP

With each step that Kaniz took toward Leo's office, her heart pounded in her chest like a relentless drum. Her mind was a whirlwind of concern and fear, the urgent need to find the missing ladies consuming her every thought.

"I can't believe it happened again! I hope both of you are safe..." 

The corridors seemed to stretch on endlessly, The prospect of finding help in Leo's office was the only beacon of hope guiding her through the labyrinth of worry.

As she finally reached the office, "M'Lord!"

The silence that greeted her was deafening. The normally bustling space, usually filled with the hum of activity and the comforting presence of Leo, was eerily quiet. The stark emptiness was a harsh reminder of his absence, the knowledge that they were away on an expedition hitting her like a brutal punch to the gut. The hope that had been guiding her flickered, threatening to extinguish entirely.
