"Believe me, I wish I was joking, but those were my father's exact words..." Lady Margarette mused, taking a delicate sip of her tea before her gaze returned to the ladies. "The King and Queen truly lavish the Princess with affection."

"Surely they wouldn't allow the Princess to wed the Captain, right?...right?" Lady Carmen queried,

"Don't be absurd, Lady Carmen. There's no way. The King may have given it some thought, but the Captain? I highly doubt he would agree to it" Lady Natasha countered, earning nods of agreement from all present.

'Hard to picture Eli as a Prince,' Yule mused silently.

"Who could resist the idea of the Captain as their spouse? He's undeniably handsome, virtuous, captivating, and robust!" Lady Lucile gushed, her cheeks tinged with a blush. Yule couldn't help but chuckle at her words.

'What is she talking about? She's just a child' Yule snickering in her mind.
