Sam felt the Greek kopis break through the fabric of his suit. He felt the blade’s tip pierce into his flesh and draw blood. Only then was he able to pull away while knowing full well that he was too late.

[WARNING! You have been poisoned with the [Kiss of Achlys].]

“Styx,” Sam winced.

[ALERT! [Regeneration (ζ)] cannot counteract the poison. The power level is too low.]

Sam could already feel the poison working inside him. It wormed its way slowly into his internal organs and even intensified the pain that came from his left fist.

[ALERT! [Regeneration (ζ)] can slow the rate of infection, but it is recommended that the hero ingest [Hydra Venom] to counteract the [Kiss of Achlys] before paralysis sets in.]

“Don’t run away!” The Trickster chased after Sam while slashing his knife across the air in a frenzied flurry. “We were just starting to have fun!”

Sam could barely dodge his attacks. His legs were weakening, forcing him to stumble away almost desperately.
