Bab 20: Bone Soup

Su Xiaonai looked at Ji Anren's hair and said,

"Thankfully, you have a lot of hair. Otherwise, your head would have definitely split open."

Ji Anren smiled bitterly. While waiting for the medicine in the pharmacy, Ji Anren took the initiative to chat with Su Xiaonai.

He suddenly recalled that he had seen a little girl and a little boy that looked exactly the same entering the 20th floor. He asked.

"Do you have two children?"

Su Xiaonai didn't deny, so she nodded.

Ji Anren frowned and probed.

"Where's the father? I've never seen him before."

Su Xiaonai paused and told him the truth.

"I'm single."

Ji Anren was momentarily surprised, and a trace of joy flashed past his eyes, but he was sensible enough to know that he shouldn't dwell on it.

He quickly changed the topic.

"Why don't you head back first? Don't want the kids to wake up without you there."
