Bab 24: Chapter 24: Secret Support

Cherish Turner saw William Griffith coming over, and hurriedly put her phone down.

For some reason, she suddenly felt a little guilty when William looked at her with an inquiring gaze.

"Uh, it's getting late. Since Lewis is fine, it's time for me to leave." Saying that, Cherish scratched her head and slipped past William.

This time, William didn't stop her.

With a click, the door closed, and Cherish left Deep Wave Mansion.

The villa was exceptionally quiet, different from the warm atmosphere before.

Little Lewis, dressed in his dinosaur pajamas, stood in the doorway looking at his dispirited father, feeling a bit heartache.

"Dad, I wrote down the phone number from the call earlier. Do you need it?"

Cherish almost escaped from Deep Wave Mansion. The scene of being kissed by William just now still lingered in her mind. Strangely, she didn't dislike his actions.

It felt very familiar, as if she had kissed him before.

What was going on?
