I didn’t care what we should or shouldn’t do. I didn’t care what was good or bad. I didn’t want to hear his thoughts on what was right or wrong. I just wanted to know if he wanted to marry me or not. That was all.

“I’m not evading your question, Malissa. Don’t act like you’re the only one that has given this a long and hard thought. I’ve probably been thinking of this for much longer than you have.
