"Akira was drunk," Ayami spoke up, cold sweat dripping down her forehead, "He didn't like parties and was always the first to leave. So I thought he had already left."

"Really? Then what about the next morning? Why did you pay reporters to write an article on how Akira was leaving the industry and that you were now getting married to Asahi instead? Don't you dare deny this, we already have transactional proof that you paid the reporters." 

"I did pay the reporters but it was to publish an article about me and Asahi. I never paid them to write an article about Akira." 

"Another lie? I have the reporter's testimony. If you want, I can let you hear it, but I must let you know that the testimony is backed up with a recorded phone call. One that you made to that reporter in which it is clear that you paid him to write a false article on Mr. Akira Kanbe. Which brings me back to the matter at hand. Where is he? Where is Akira?"
