"There's no need to blame yourself," Akira reassured with a small chuckle, "Even if you had warned me, it wouldn't have made that much of a difference because I wouldn't have believed you."

"..."

"So there is no need to blame yourself. You couldn't have changed anything."

"But still..." 

Saying something might have been better... 

Kaito bit his lower lip, not knowing what to do with his guilt, especially when faced with Akira who didn't seem to have any hostility towards him. 

Akira smiled and let out a long sigh as he stretched his muscles, "After saying all that, I feel much better. I don't have to pretend anymore." 

Kaito didn't give a response to that. 

"In any case, we have more pressing matters to discuss," Zaelek pointed out, "Our mission was successful and we found valuable information."
