Bab 39: Entering a lion's den

Zaelek shook his head with a sigh as he got out of the car and quickly loaded the trunk with the fake Akira. He did it so efficiently and casually that it really did look like he was throwing in a bag of potatoes. 

When he got back inside the car, he wore his seatbelt as he asked, "So are we really going there?" 

Akira did not give a verbal confirmation but still nodded his head.

"You better not pee your pants in fear." 

"Who's talking about who now?" Akira grumbled. 

"I have nothing to fear," Zaelek spoke confidently as he started the car's engine, "After all, they can't even see me, so how can they pose a threat to me?" 

Akira pursed his lips into a thin smile as he looked at Zaelek and spoke, "I thought you were smart. Didn't you catch on to the plan?" 

"Hmm?" 

"You'll have to pretend to be the fake Akira for a while." 

Zaelek raised an eyebrow as he heard this.
