Bab 15: Magical circle

Hearing her saying those words, Alastor got up instantly. He was not sure why she was saying those heartless words about him being angry with her. He only meant that her presence was so strong that his heart was racing crazily like something strange was flowing through his blood.

His gaze fell on sitting Alexa down on the ground near his bed, her features were clearly visible in the dim crimson glow of scarlet red paper lanterns.

Brushing his long slender finger under her chin , forcing her to look at him , he in his husking voice asked,"Why would I throw you when I'm the one who brought you here?"

"Huh?" She innocently raised her face and stared into his dreamy eyes which was emitting a beautiful blue glow. His pale complexion gleamed in the darkness, making him look like a porcelain sculpture of man.
