Bab 89: Chapter 89

Everyone in the table, except of course for one, beheld Zeronis like he was losing his mind for declaring such a thing. Why would a multi-billion dollar businessman be in the service of the president's daughter as a bodyguard?

Spencer was the first one to laugh awkwardly at such declaration. "Nice one. You almost got me there. I know you're just making me feel better and I appreciate the thought." 

"But I think this is just a cruel joke." Jan said with a pout.

Zell just laughed it off too. "Here I thought I would be having the opportunity to meet the mysterious owner of the vineyard. Good one though. You have humor but it was wicked."

Zeronis' brows lifted before he turned to Maria instead, disbelief was also on his face.

Maria shrugged her shoulders as if telling him that she can't do anything about their opinions after his words.
