Bab 44: Chapter 44

Maria couldn't process that immediately as she stared at him for a while. 

"I'll cook to make it up for firing that chef without your permission," he said.

She looked away from his gaze. "Y-you should have told me sooner. Now, I feel embarrassed for running my mouth on you since this morning."

"You're already angry. I can't find a chance to insert that piece of information."

"Alright. It's my fault for lashing out."

"It doesn't matter anymore," he said, standing up from his seat and inadvertently turning off her computers.

"Hey, I'm still working on some data." Maria protested.

"Bedtime. It's clearly stated in the manual." He said. "Follow me now."

Maria stood up from her game chair and trailed behind him. She closed the door of her game room afterward.

"I got your milk on the bedside table. Finish it before you sleep," he said, walking through the door.
