Seeing her reaction, Henry Russell, feeling a bit unsettled, lowered his head and kissed her lips.

He solemnly promised, "I assure you, such a situation will not occur again."

"Humph." When she thought of how intimate Lily McKenzie had been with him earlier, she got a little angry.

Henry Russell didn't say anything more, and the two of them went to sleep together.
