Bab 547: Chapter 547: Troublesome People

Feeling like she could no longer stay at the hospital, Charlotte Cooper felt like she was getting moldy during her few days there.

If she told Henry Russell about her plan to leave the hospital early, he would definitely disagree. So, she decided not to tell him and went through the discharge procedures on her own.

Upon leaving the hospital, she hailed a taxi to take her home. As soon as she entered the house, she heard the sound of Lily McKenzie and Russell's mother chatting and laughing. Her appearance seemed to put an abrupt end to their laughter.

"Back already?" Lily's mouth twitched, and it was clear in her eyes that she didn't want to see Charlotte. But due to Russell's mother's presence, she pretended to be another person.

Charlotte had almost forgotten about this plague staying in their home since she hadn't been around for the past few days. However, just because she had forgotten the person's existence didn't mean that she would forget about what they had done.
