They were met by the sight of a closed metal door and a sleeping middle-aged woman, who was none other than Marilyn Scott.

The three of them were stunned at the sight, and Charlotte Cooper felt her body stiffen instantly, as if something had immobilized her.

Marilyn Scott was bound by a thick rope, leaning against the iron gate while her black hair fluttered in the wind.

Cloud Russell, on the other hand, could hardly contain her emotions. She recognized what lay beyond the iron door— usually towering several meters high, the building was now at eye-level with them, fluttering freely in the wind.

"What are you trying to do! Give me back my mom!" shouted Cloud Russell.

"You're too noisy. Just look at your dear mother for a while," said the kidnapper, whom held the phone, laughing lightly. The wind filled the microphone, swiftly scattering his words.
