Henry was worried that his mother's demeanor would hurt Charlotte, so he kept an eye on her expression. When he saw that she seemed fine, he relaxed, understanding that she had accepted it.

Upon arriving at their destination, Henry naturally approached Charlotte, took her hand, and asked, "How are you feeling? Do you want to skip going to the film crew tonight? I'm just not at ease leaving you."

Gently massaging her hand, he tried to relieve the lingering tension from the afternoon's events. Charlotte felt his touch and her heart instantly settled.
