Bab 31: Chapter 31: Going Home

Lucas took a solid punch from him, then turned his head to look at him, casually wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Ruin her? Being with you will ruin her. She'll only be happy with me."

Henry Russell threw another punch, "You're full of shit!"

This time, Lucas dodged it.

They went back and forth over a desk, neither side giving in. The documents on the desk scattered all over the floor.

When Charlotte Cooper's picture frame fell on the ground, Lucas finally got angry.

The battleground shifted onto the desk itself. The secretary, hearing the banging inside, knocked on the door to ask about it.

Seeing that no one opened the door for a while, she worriedly pushed it open, only to be stunned by what she saw.

"What are you looking at, get out!" Lucas shouted.

The secretary froze in fear and hurriedly went out, closing the door behind her.

In this short gap, Henry once again landed a kick on Lucas' stomach, pushing him back two or three meters.
