Bab 249: Young master's change

The car finally stopped in front of a large gate that shielded a massive villa behind it.

Alex looked at the villa that appeared so big despite being quite a distance from the gate, a strange feeling boiling inside of him but his face remained expressionless.

He had only been away for a bit more than a month but it felt like he had not been here for years; well, things did not change…at least not much. The guards were still guardian around the gates and he could spot a few butlers and maids from the high windows of the villa.

'Home' he thought to himself as he began to walk toward the guards at the gate while falling in thoughts.

He had been a cultivator without a family or place to call home back in his old world, surviving on luck and looting battlefields. When it came to those cunning old men from different sects he did not hesitate using brute force as he had no backup to stand with him in case of a full blown war.
