Bab 99: Repulsed by her

When Amani heard the conversation Leonardo had with his assistant, she instantly turned in her seat to check behind them. She wanted to see the car he told his assistant had been following him around since the previous day 

"Leo, where's the car following us? I can't see any crown vic behind us" She asked with concern as she returned her gaze back to him 

"What crown Vic, babe? My conversation with Toni had nothing to do with you so don't bother yourself about it, alright?

"Okay but I just can't help but worry..."

"Okay but I don't want you worrying yourself over nothing." He said and leaned toward her to give her a quick kiss on the lips. 

Since Leonardo saw Amani was scrolling through her social media account, he thought she wasn't paying attention to him, that was why he quickly made his call to Toni. He would have postponed his talk till after he dropped her at her house if he thought she was paying attention and would worry about him
