Bab 55: Food war

"I got my own condo Ama. I might be moving out soon" Becca said looking somber when her face was supposed to be radiating with happiness because of her promotion.

"Huh?" Amani's smile wavered when she heard what Becca said. "But I thought this place belongs to the both of us. Didn't it?"

"You can't seriously really be thinking that, Ama?"

"Well... " Amani said with a shrug, leaving the rest of her words hanging. She sat back down on the chair, pulling Becca with her so she could be able to put her head on her friend's shoulder like she always does whenever they have an emotionally deep conversation

Even though she's always saying Becca acts like a helicopter mom, who was overprotective and always hovering over everything she does, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. Amani knew deep down in her, she loves the care and attention she was getting from her friend
