Bab 43: Lies and deceit

"You know I couldn't help being distracted and looking in their direction when I saw them come into the lounge where we were having our drink. She complained I was no longer giving her attention and caught me looking in their direction numerous times. 

So she asked me who they were and I lied. I lied to her Amani is one of my numerous secretaries who is also dating my best friend. I told her I was just disgusted to see she was cheating on my friend, that's all"

They just finished watching the CCTV camera of what transpired between Amani and Rosa. Nicholas laughed hard after listening to Leonardo's explanation of how Rosa came to notice Amani even when their table was far from each other. He was surprised to hear Leonardo telling a lie simply because he wanted to protect Amani from Rosa

"I never knew you were so good at lying, man," Nicholas said while still laughing

Leonardo shrugged
