Bab 36: Jealousy

Every eye in the lounge was focused on Amani, probably waiting for her to unleash her anger on the waitress, which will be well deserved because who wouldn't be angry if you're drenched with different colors of cocktail drinks from head to toes. Let's not forget the new but now badly stained white dress that would probably not be cleaned again?

But instead of getting angry and creating scenes like some of them expected, Amani's heart goes out to the woman who was crouched on the floor, crying amidst broken glasses.

"That's okay! You're not going to lose your job. Accidents happen all the time so I can't blame you because of what was clearly an accident. Now stop picking glass shards with your bare hand, you might cut yourself badly! Go get a broom instead!" Amani said and held the waitress to help her up to her feet.
